Osa Odiase is a seasoned Digital Banking and Payments professional with over 20 years of experience in fintech, banking, and business innovation. Before his appointment as Acting Chief Executive Officer of 9PSB, he served as Chief Commercial Officer, leading the bank’s commercial division and driving its growth strategy.

Prior to 9PSB, Osa was Regional Director for Growth, Anglophone West Africa at Onafriq (formerly MFS Africa) and Chief Innovation Officer at BAXI/Capricorn Digital, where he spearheaded business expansion and the development of innovative financial solutions. He also held senior leadership roles at Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS), playing a key role in industry-transforming initiatives like Cashless Nigeria and the Bank Verification Number (BVN) scheme.

Osa holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Engineering Technology. He is an alumnus of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, London School of Business and Finance (LSBF), and Lagos Business School (LBS). He is passionate about financial inclusion, digital transformation, and driving sustainable growth in the financial services industry.
